Secondary Coolant Expansion Tank

Secondary/sub coolant expansion tank designed for left-hand-drive (LHD) DAF trucks. An integral, complementary part of the engine cooling system, regulating coolant volume as it changes with temperature. Key functions: Coolant volume regulation: Captures overflow coolant when the engine is hot, returning it in a controlled manner as the engine cools, preventing fluid loss. Maintains correct pressure: Helps maintain stable pressure within the closed cooling system, raising the coolant's boiling point and improving cooling efficiency. Removes air from the system: Allows air bubbles to rise into it, preventing internal corrosion and hot spots. Materials & durability: High-quality plastic resistant to coolant fluids, high temperatures, pressure and cracking. Easy monitoring: Clear minimum/maximum level marks for a quick visual check without opening the main system.
